CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Student protests are expected tonight when former Vice President Mike Pence speaks at UVa’s Old Cabell Hall. Soon after he accepted an invitation from the group, an editorial in The Cavalier Daily called for the invitation to be rescinded due to his stance on gay right, support for conversion therapy, and insensitivity toward minorities. However, President Jim Ryan says UVa is a place for all points of view to be heard.

Pence’s speech will be titled, “How to Save America from the Woke Left”.
